The World Truly is in Grief since the past 3 days. Leaving behind the boundaries of nations, rivalry and struggle, the world is standing besides the people who lost their loved ones in the shameful act of terror in Peshawar.
Pakistan came face to face with unimaginable trauma this week when terrorists indiscriminately killed 132 students and nine teachers in an army public school in Peshawar. One of the most brutal assaults on a school anywhere in the world. Even in conflict-ravaged Pakistan, it seems an unprecedented act.
Asserting responsibility for the massacre, Taliban called it retaliation for the military's ongoing campaign (Zarb-e-Azb) against the militants' strongholds in the tribal areas along the border with Afghanistan. They wanted to inflict the same pain as was felt by them when the Pakistani army attacked them and their loved ones. May be there were families among the devils as well; there were kids and women who suffered during the mass attack against the Taliban. Yes, there is this other side of the story as well.
Well as Mahatma Gandhi Said an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. So, army killed Talibanis, they in turn killed the kids and now again some one will be killed. I would just want all of you to stop for a while and think where is it all taking us. The power struggle, nuclear armaments and loads of ammunition has been discovered in this world but what we left alone was humanity and justice.
In clear words I would not accept the sympathies of President Obama to the Peshawar Attack because people who were killed in Iraq were also human beings, kids who were ravaged in the oil struggle were also crying for humanity. In recent times, I saw a picture of PM Modi with the US president standing near a wall which had Martin Luther King Jr.'s Quote on it. I would Want Mr. Obama To turn and read that quote
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere!
World peace is threatened by ISIS, another face of the devilish inhuman creatures like Taliban. While extremist groups are generally amorphous organizations, ISIS can trace its history directly back to the Sunni terrorist organization al Qaeda, specifically the Iraq faction, al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). AQI, led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was responsible for scores of bombings, kidnappings and beheadings in Iraq following the U.S. invasion. After al-Zarqawi was killed in 2006 by an American airstrike, leadership of the group eventually fell to Abu Du’a, better known as Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the present head of ISIS.
So where does it all starts from? Soviet Union's entrance in Afghanistan 1979 signaled the Soviet's increase in power and strength so the United States decided to intervene. Because the US did not want to see the Soviet Union take control over Central Asia, the U.S. decided to fund troops to fight against the Soviet Union. These troops were called the Mujahedeen.
Congress led by Democrats, decided to form a partnership with the ISI which would recruit the Mujahideen with the support of the Pakistani military extreme views of Islam. Though the Mujahidens were recruited by Pakistan's ISI, it was funded by US. Following the 9/11 attacks, U.S. declared a war against Afghanistan and realized the seeds they had sown are now biting them back.
Lord Acton has just put it rightly: Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely
With all the facts and figures and the destruction before your eyes, I would leave you all open for an ending. The world needs to awake not to a technologically advanced and armed place but a better place for a kid's life. To the Politicians in the world and the radical religious outfits, if the blood bathed body of a kid doesn't cringe you, I don't know what will.
If God were to speak today he would have said,
Dear Atheists I am thankful for you don't follow any religion, I am ashamed and would advice- What goes around comes around
